Lately I have been posting a lot of reviews and comparisons of the MacBook Air against other notebooks. Maybe it looks that I’m against the new Apple’s revolutionary notebook, but to tell the truth I’m not. I’m just trying to help you to get really functional notebook that will work for you and help you evaluate if the MacBook is really the notebook that you need.
Today reading the news from one of my favorite sites The Inquirer I found a really interesting post that tells about how the MacBook has been a headache for many travelers. This seems that this news is traveling around the world because also I found a post at Engadget.com
It seemed that the main problem was that the security officers from an airport in the United States didn’t believed that the thin notebook was really a portable computer. They tough it was a fake computer which was packed with explosives inside. That was because the notebook it is too thin, they didn’t found a disk drive and there were no ports in the back.
Of course the passenger who needed to get on the plane missed his flight because the security officers were figuring out what was the strange device with no ports or drive. After other security officers explained in simple terms what a SSD was, they allowed the owner of the MacBook Air to pass.
You can find more information about this situation on The Inquirer or Engadget.com.
