YouTube Is Awash With Advertising

The president of Google, Eric Schmidt, is interested in the way of generating revenue with YouTube. Whereas Google receives most of its revenue through advertising, Schmidt considers the most profitable ways to incorporate advertising to the popular online video service. Once Google has found ways to profit from YouTube, it is expected that the service is overwhelmed by advertising.

Speaking to Cnet, Schmidt himself admits the foregoing noting that “considering the scale at which explains the ads, we are talking about a lot of money. When we find ways to distribute advertising, has been like finding the Holy Grail.”

YouTube has already tested several types of advertising, which is presented before, during and after each video clip. In his evidence, would have found that ads that generate most attention are those integrated into the clip.

Schmidt emphasized that Google has not yet found the perfect pattern to incorporate video on YouTube. When this happens, users can prepare for a real advertising bombardment.
