Download YouTube Videos To Your iPod Or PSP

Sunday, March 16th, 2008

How many time have you seen a video that you really like and you will like to have it? Well this has happended to me a lot of times. After wondering and surfing the Internet a found a cool software very easy to use with which you can download videos from YouTube, MySpace, Break.com and many others.

What you only have to do is to visit is the YouTube Downloader Homepage and download the latest version of the software. This is a freeware so you don’t have to pay a cent to use it. This is a small but powerful software with which you will be able to download your favorite videos straight to your PC and then decode them from the .flv format and encode it to any of the popular video formats.

Once you have encoded to your favorite video format you will be able to reproce it in your PC, your iPod and even in your PSP. I have even use it to encode other videos downloaded already in other video formats like .avi to QuickTime Player format and then I use iTunes to transfer them to my iPod. In the case that I have transfered videos to my PSP I encode them into a MP4.

You only have to drag and drop the URL of the video that you want to download and then click “OK”. The software automatically will start downloading your favorite video, just be aware that in a case you download a video and doesn’t has a extension you may added manually the .flv so later you can encoded in your favorite format.

After downloading your .flv video just click on the button “Convert video (previosly downloaded) from file” and browser your PC to where you downloaded the video, then just click “OK” and you will start encoding the video, depending on the size of the file and the resolution that you choose for you video it might take some time. To be honest I have even full movies with this tool to play them in my iPod and it is really fast.

YouTube constantly is changing the security features in their website, sometimes this could make the tool not to work, but what you only have to do is to visit the YouTube Downloader homepage again and download the latest version. The development team of this tool works really fast when they notice that the past version doesn’t works anymore. I’m really sure that you will enjoy this tool. Happy downloading and encoding!

Activating Windows Vista Illegaly

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Some of the characteristics that Windows Vista offers is the improved security during the activation which will make the work for hackers and crackers a little bit more difficult. There are some methods like installing a KMS Server in a virtual machine or emulating the BIOS activation like the OEM manufactures do, so Microsoft took more time developing the security features than people cracking them.

One popular crack available on the Internet is the Windows Vista Activator 2007. The activation with this crack is really simple. With just a couple of click you will activate your Windows Vista operating system. Crack is compatible with Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Enterprise, Starter, Home Basic and Home Premium.

Just run the .exe file, enter a “User Account” and “Computer Name”,enter the CD Key of your currently installed Windows Vista version and it will take approximately a minute to activate your operating system.

Honestly I have personally tested this crack to activate my Windows Vista operating system, so I can’t affirm it really works.

As I posted a couple of days later on Cracking The Windows Vista Activation there is another method a little bit more complex but I have personally tested and it really works, even after applying the Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista. This process is commonly know as “SLP 2.0″ (system-locked pre-installation 2.0) which is the process that the OEM manufactures use to pre-install Windows Vista and make it easier for the end users because if they reinstall their operating system they don’t have to reactive it. This crack was developed by the Paradox Team who really made a good work.

Disclaimer: Take in mind that this files can only be use if you really know what you are doing, use them for demonstration and educational purposes only (yeah, right…). I’m not responsible for any data loss or damages that they may cause to your system or any legal implications that you may have (I mean it!!!). Please note that I don’t host these files on my server, I just link to them to a previously uploaded by I don’t know who.

Extract Music & Videos From Your iPod

Monday, March 10th, 2008

The iPod is a revolutionary MP3 and video device player that is really well built. It is really strange that this device might fail or get corrupted, but the possibilities exist, or even if you constantly synchronize your iPod with your computer and it get a hard disk failure you will lose all your music and videos if you don’t have a backup.

With iTunes it is practically impossible to backup or copy your music from your iPod to your PC or to another device, you have to look up for specialized apps to do this and most of them have you have to pay a fee in order to use them.

Searching on the Internet I found a really interesting app that any iPod owner must have. This is the iDump which is a powerful freeware available to download from EscSoft.com. This app might not have a beautiful interface but it is really simple to use and you can make a backup copy or your videos and MP3 and then burn them to a CD or DVD.

You only have to choose the songs which you want to copy to hard drive and the click on the “Start Copy” button. You may also change from the default path where you want to copy your files to other folder.

The process is really fast and simple, and in that way you will protect your MP3 files and videos and maybe you’ll like to share them with your friends.

This app is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP and Windows Vista, you use it with all the iPod generations available except on the iPhone or iTouch. Once the release for this iPod generations is available I’ll let you know. Meanwhile start copying the files from your iPod free with this app if you own one of the other generations iPod.

Using Gmail As A Hard Drive

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

Just imagine that if you could use your Gmail account as a hard drive, you will be able to store your important files or free up space from your local hard drive.

You can use the 6+ gigabits of free email storage that Google is giving and in that way you don’t have to pay for any cent as many networked storage spaces that exist on the web.

You can do this by using Gmail Drive that is available for download on http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm. It looks and feel just like a regular hard drive only that it works a little bit slower because it is networks and not local as your hard drive, it will be slower if you use a dial-up connection.

It is very simple to use and install. Once it is installed all you have to do is log in at the Gmail Drive logging screen.

You have to enter your Gmail username and password and then click the OK button. In a couple of seconds your drive will be ready to be used. What you have to do in order to transfer files into your Gmail account is to drag and drop them from local drive to your Gmail Drive and vice versa if you want to download them.

Once you have added files and folders into your Gmail account with Gmail Drive, they will look like messages in your inbox, this is totally normal and how it works.

This is a very simple and useful hack that everybody must have and know how to use it. There are a few considerations to be taken:

  • There is 65 characters limitation on filename. This is because the filename must be stored in the subject line of each email.
  • The file size must be 20MB or less. This is because Google imposes a 20MB mail attachment limit.
  • If you drop the files on your Inbox and you use a POP3 email client, you will be downloading the files right into your Inbox’s email client. To avoid this you may place the files on your Gmail account draft folder.

Now it’s time you enjoy of your Gmail free online storage!
